Poverty In Our Community

Have you ever wondered why some people are so passionate about helping the homeless and impoverished? Our nation's economic turmoil has taken its toll on Central Florida and thousands of hard-working people continue to live in poverty.  Much of the problem stems from the working poor's inability to earn living wages and the lack of affordable housing; while other factors weigh in from those experiencing long-term poverty and homelessness with no feasible plans to get back on the path of self sufficiency.

Take a moment to peruse the sites below and gain an understanding as to why our work is imperative to the societal rebuilding of the individuals and families that seek assistance with the crisis they are experiencing. Regardless of what got an individual to a negative place in life; no one should struggle for life sustaining necessities and feel eternally hopeless. We strive to 'Give the Gift of Hope'...all year long.
