Charity plays Santa, bringing Christmas gifts to kids at shelter

Kelli Krueger knows that Christmas just isn't Christmas without presents.

She has lived with her family at the Orlando Union Rescue Mission shelter in Orlando's Parramore neighborhood for the past three weeks, after losing her job that paid $14 an hour and running out of savings.

But thanks to a local nonprofit that showed up at the shelter Sunday bearing giftsand stuffed stockings, Christmas kept its festive feel.

Volunteers with the charity A Grateful Mind Internationalspent the day visiting shelters for homeless people and abused women, armed with presents for kids who would not have received any otherwise.
